This house is located on Yoshida Hill, on the precincts of Yoshida shrine.
Located at 5 minutes walk from Kyoto University it belongs to retired scholars living abroad who are willing to rent it for people staying on a monthly basis in Kyoto.
Renovated in 2023 by a Japanese local architect this wooden house matches ancient Japanese rooms with a modern living room, and a new bathroom.
It has 6 Japanese rooms on 140 m2, and a large garden courtyard, oriented towards the South. From the upper bedrooms it is open to Kyoto city skyline.
